Who Guards The Guards

Who Guards the Guards
Who guards the guards, did you say
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
People with no sense of liberty
Everyone looks away while they tighten the chains
Wahhabist fundamentalists are just fascist’s
Controlling the land
With an iron grip
Who watches the watchers
When they are the torturers
Who funds the beheadings
Well they’re funded by us
Now the USA will have their say
The story stays the same
It’s our arms
In the hands of Saudi Princes
So they can play their games
The war machine rolls on and on
Displaced population no hopes of salvation
England sold arms just to do them more harm
Voided themselves of all responsibility
No chance of freedom or democracy
Just raping the land for what its got left
Draining the oil for what they can sell
No change of dictators just ones full of hatred
All nations have failed again

Look Inside

|

Look Inside
Their spreading hatred with viewpoints outdated
There was never a time when these ideas were fine
The way that we’re heading, the fear that they’re spreading
Have we already run out of time?
If we look inside
Together we will find
A better way to see
We have a common enemy
We have more in common with those in our communities
With our neighbours and in the workplace
Nothing in common with the rich and bourgeoisie
Stick them on a plane to fly into the sea
If we look inside
Together we will find
A better way to see
We have a common enemy
Divided we will fall
if we cant see a common goal
Together we could be
what on our own we could never be!
What we need to do is respect one another
We can fight them back if we stick together
Open your minds follow your hearts
Stand up for the victims who carry the scars
All refugees welcome it's our job to help them
No borders no boundaries this world is all of ours

Saviour

Saviour
Roll out the red carpet to cover up the poverty
The homeless fill the streets but the problems clear to see
Their solutions anti homeless spikes and religious charity
If you criminalise the homeless you'll have more people on the streets
When they took away squatting they took the means out of our hands
While the bourgeoisie landlords control the land, control the land!
The rich are getting richer
And the poor are just staying poor
As we struggle to survive
We don't need a saviour
We've been here before
Saviour
To come crashing through the door
In the boredom we want something to do
To figure out something to believe in
Spending life trying to pass the time
Then the saviour comes knockin at your door
Spoken word
The same situation, we've been here before
While the ruling class, rule the land once more
The same frustrations the same problems we all face
They want you on the database, but it's time to cover your face
Time, the saviour resigned
The people save themselves
If we can only wake up the sheep
Like lambs to the slaughter
Did we already accept defeat
Do we let it all rot or squat the fuckin lot
we’ve gotta tear it down to rebuild it
Do you wanna be excited or do you wanna be divided
We’ll give it everything that we got

The Puppeteer

The Puppeteer
A shocking display of acting and amateur dramatics
The wide angled view and seating makes it seem panoramic
The lack of 3d leaves the strings clear to see
I'm watching this puppet show but it don't amuse me
I won't be happy until the walls fall down
I wanna see the day they hit the ground
Don't wanna wake up dont wanna give up
I want to hear that sound of the walls crashing down
For to long has this puppet show been going on
For to long has the puppeteer hid behind closed doors
They're the bankers, they're the CEO’s
They’re the faces that no one knows
Their masterpiece is their illusion
We could do with a revolution
I won't be happy until the walls fall down
I wanna see the day they hit the ground
Don't wanna wake up dont wanna give up
We’ll fight this battle tonight
Until the walls come crashing down
Burn the puppeteer and the puppet dies as well
I don't believe in heaven but i hope they burn in hell
I will throw all my coins deep into the wishing well
Just to see their faces burn

Vicious Games

Vicious Games
Where are the victims? Locked up in a cage
Viewed by all the ages and the hidden sadists
We see them suffer, for whose pleasure? How can we measure?
Why do we lock life away when the cages should be thrown away
Its not saving its endangering
Prolonging the suffering
Its not a fuckin game, Its life or fuckin death
the animals in cages have no choices left
They just want to raise a family not living in captivity
Where fear and death are common place
Inflicted by the human race
Liberate the animals to liberate ourselves
In the human race we don't need no alpha males
But that should be plain to see like animals should all be free
Not victims of our vicious games
Of our vicious games
Captivity drives them insane
Liberate for fucks sake
No more vicious games
Its not saving its endangering
Prolonging the suffering
A cage with a life kept locked inside
A heart with a passion
a fight to survive
All these vicious games
No more vicious games
full of fear and pain
And its stuck in my head
its all the fuckin same
All the vicious games
It's already too late

Left Behind
02:37
|

Left Behind
I wake up and i go to work
the same pattern repeats itself
This land is so fractured and broken
but one thing still remains
While we argue amongst ourselves
they steal food from our plates
and stuff their faces
We can't agree on anything
No common ground to find
The struggles of the past
have all been left behind
We’re still searching for it
Left behind searching for it
As we pass by before it
Left behind searching for it
We don't learn from our mistakes
As we make them all again
So scared of being different
Still running from ourselves
They stick us all in pigeon holes
To categorise their lies
Targeted advertising helps them
Keep up the disguise
People climbing fences
over borders and divides
Drowning in the sea
just for want of a better life
We’re all in this together
They can't take away our dreams
I could rant forever
About how lifes not what it seems
If we remember anything it's that one thing still remains
The rich are getting richer every single day
We’re still searching for it
Left behind searching for it
As we pass by before it
Left behind searching for it

Burnt By The Sun

Burnt by the Sun
I cannot believe it, the way we all
Stand up and fall,
they make you think you cannot believe it
We’re led one by one
Self destruction for some
Don't fly too low
Or get burned by the sun
These capitalists they are not pacifists
When they are selling our blood for their gold
When the wheels keep on turning
the bastards keep earning
and we only reap what we sow
And they'll come for the crops
And they will take the lot
Unless we fight for what we are owed
When the lies get imported
the truth gets distorted
And so many stories are told
We grow old
We can march through this struggle and protect one and other
We can stand in the streets, take back this land
Take back the food from their greedy hands
Greedy hands
They can chop down the trees
But what they forget is that we are seeds
That grow into ideas, it costs nothing to dream
No matter how hard they try they'll never bring us down
I cannot believe it, the way we all
Stand up and fall,
they make you think you cannot believe it
We’re led one by one
Self destruction for some
Don't fly too low
Or get burned by the sun
The morning starts the streets are bright
The echoes of the whispers flow
A warrior cries from the rooftops
And the seagulls all disperse
Flocks of gammon read the news
confused, bemused by the blinding truth
Unravelling the knot only to respin the yarn
The mind moves towards sanctuary
To find a place of calm
In these times it can't do any harm
An eclipse a total loss of freedom
A realisation then a loss of reason
Freedom comes in many forms
Collective views become the norm
No matter how hard they try they'll never bring us down
